Formation of the elements
In their constant engagement with nature, the NONOS are constantly inspired by the geological formations of the earth. Influenced by the hidden layers in the earth – volcanic rock, minerals, etc. – the artists get to the bottom of their origins. – The artists get to the bottom of their origins.
Own technique
In order to capture the complexity of the geology, the flow of water and the wind currents, they have developed their own technique. Using carbon, fibreglass and lightfast pigments, they create a texture that depicts flowing geological formations.
The bold colours and undulating layers mimic the structure of the earth’s rock formations and flowing water.
