Los Angeles – the city of the angels
After our SPECTRUM exhibition in Indian Wells near Palm Springs, we drove to Los Angeles to take a photo series with the sculptures.
For example, on Hollywood Boulevard, on the Walk of Fame or in Beverly Hills… We also visited the former Bond Girl and actress Elke Sommer at her home in Bel Air. We also met the then 20 year old actress Laura Bilgeri who was allowed to shoot a blockbuster with Wesley Snipes a little later.
A business meeting at the Austrian Consulate General was also a good way to maintain B2B contacts.
The most beautiful photos were take in Santa Monica Beach. It is always worth waiting for the right moment, until the light is right and if you spare no effort…. and carry everything to the most beautiful place.
The Pacific Ocean is breathtakingly beautiful but also very cool. Part of the San Andreas Fault also runs here, so the houses are usually not built high. The highway often has more than 6 lanes and is connected with traffic jams. Nevertheless, it is an experience to drive a car here, as you will not get anywhere without a car.
