Life Ball Queen

Since our sculptures are very closely linked to fashion and design, the Wolford company approached us for the Life Ball Queen award. Under the motto “Garden of Earthly Delights,” the best costume was then awarded by a well-known jury at the Life Ball.

Leona Lewis and Franca Sozzani from Italian Vogue presented our sculpture to the lucky winner on stage.

The Life Ball in Vienna was the largest charity event in Europe for people infected with HIV and suffering from AIDS.

The LIFE + SOLIDARITY GALA offered the opportunity to exchange ideas on an international level and to discuss the progress made and the remaining challenges in the fight against HIV and AIDS.

The Life Ball worked with great business partners year after year. Only their generous support in the form of monetary and material donations made this great event possible.

An unmatched line-up of international celebrities from fashion, entertainment and politics supported the tireless educational work year after year. The City of Vienna also made a significant contribution to the success of the Life Ball with its generous support. The Vienna City Hall as an even location illustrates the cosmopolitanism, tolerance and social responsibility of the city.

A central concern of the Life Ball was to promote the diversity of society, to make it visible as a strength and to create tolerance for diverse ways of living and loving. Extravagant outfits and creative stylings under the sign of the red ribbon and solidarity set an important visual statement that was spread worldwide by the media and made the Life Ball a unique event.
